20 graduate employees at the UI's Chicago campus have occupied the Chancellor's office there. They and a large crowd of supporters outside the office are acting in solidarity with the two-day strike by GEO members at the UI's Urbana-Champaign campus for union recognition at UIUC.
A spokesperson for the GEO indicated that those sitting-in in Chicago are prepared to face arrest. |
