Call for an International Student Strike
Wednesday, the 5th of December
On the 11th of September 2001, a few people committed an incredibly
violent act, killing thousand of ordinary people.
The reply to this vile and inhuman act was another vile and inhuman act.
The reply to religious terrorism was State terrorism.
In order to ease their own conscience, the American authorities presented
a humanist justification for this war: they claim they want to punish a
single terrorist and overthrow the Taliban dictatorship, but it is a whole
population they are bombing.
At the same time, they send some food, in the case that dead people
would be still hungry .
But we have to find the real reason for this war elsewhere. As in
Iraq or in Kosovo, there are hidden economic motivations behind the
humanitarian pretext. Once more, the United States wants to extend
its financial influence and to control new territories. There is no
"clean war".
· War is not a suitable solution for the problem of terrorism.
· We reject the concept of an "eye for eye".
· We refuse to passively watch the massacre of innocent ordinary
people. We reject those States which decide the future of
mankind by themselves.
· We declare ourselves antimilitarist.
· We reject any war.
· Nothing can justify the absurdity of this war
To passively watch a war means to accept it. And to accept the war
means to contribute to it.
ANOTHER WORLD IS ESSENTIAL !!!
