On Thursday, April 7th, the Illinois Disciples Foundation’s Third Annual Human Rights Film Series will present its second film this spring, "Plan Colombia; Cashing In On The Drug War Failure." "Plan Colombia" is a documentary about the 20-year “war on drugs.” Even after millions in taxpayers money is spent, more and more drugs and narco-dollars are entering the U.S. every year. Is it a mere failure by Washington? Or is it a smokescreen to secure Columbia’s oil & natural resources? The showing will begin at 7pm and will be followed by a facilitated discussion.
