Community radio WEFT is holding its first ever record and music sale this Sat., Nov. 3 at the Urbana Civic Center on Water St. in Downtown Urbana (between Broadway and Vine). |
All LPs at the Record Sale are $1 per disc, and all CDs are $3.00 per disc. There are over 15,000 albums for sale and all proceeds go to keep community radio going.
WEFT provides a firm foundation for independent media and activism in East-Central Illinois, this is a chance to do your part to keep it going and get some cheap tunes, too. Who knows what gems lie waiting for you to find?
For more info, call the station at 359-9338. |

As I posted on some WEFT "bulletin board" that a link
took me to, I phoned WEFT a week or two ago, asking when
the sale was and how I might go about donating some CD's
for the sale. Since no human being answered the phone,
I left a message on their voice mail. No one ever
bothered to call me back. |
