The February 8, 2005 forum on Community-police relations will be shown on Urbana Public Television (UPTV) on these dates at these times.
3/3 - 7:30 PM
3/8 - 7:00 PM
3/15 - 4:00 PM
3/22 - 4:00 PM
If you couldn't come to the forum, this is your chance to see it all! Speakers include - Mark Krug, Court Diversion Services, Sandra Ahten and Sis. Carol Ammons - CU Citizens for Peace and Justice, Rev. Zernial Bogan - Salem Baptist Church, and Ricky Baldwin - Coalition for Citizen Police Review Boards volunteer. Public comment includes statements from Matt Varble - Champaign City Council Candidate, Dennis Roberts - Urbana City Council Candidate, Laurel Prussing - Urbana Mayoral Candidate, and Aaron Ammons of CU Citizens for Peace and Justice.
The forum, held in the Urbana City Council Chambers, also featured a standing room only crowd of nearly 100 people, a strong display of support for a Citizen Police Review Board.
