Become the Media!
Get an introduction to the Independent Media movement and YOUR local Independent Media Center. Come to the U-C IMC Introduction and Orientation on Sat. March 5th from 3-5pm at the IMC, 218 W. Main St, Downtown Urbana. |
Come to a free introduction and orientation to the
Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center, Saturday March 5 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.
You'll learn about what the U-C IMC has to offer you and your community, and all the different fun things you can get involved in. You'll also learn how to make your ideas for independent media become a reality.
The Independent Media Center is a grassroots collective that provides the tools, training and support for community members to tell their own stories through media.
It's two hours well-spent and it's free and open to everyone.
