~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Food & Drug Administration has indefinitely delayed a decision on approving emergency contraceptive, Plan B, for sale over-the-counter. The Department of Justice has omitted EC from their protocol for treating sexual assault survivors. And many local pharmacies still refuse to stock EC. We need to fight for EC now more than ever! Come to the meeting and find out what it will take to win EC access for our community and nationwide!!
Destiny Lopez with the Institute for Reproductive Health Access, NARAL Pro-Choice NY, and the Latino Reproductive Rights Project in New York, will speak about the status of EC access nationally, about Latina women's organizing for reproductive justice, and about the significance of our local campaign for EC.
