Laurel will have big shoes to fill |

This evening when Tod lost, he thanked his supporters with grace and dignity. He was proud of the campaign that he and his supporters led because there were no harsh words against his candidate throughout the campaign. What a true example for candidates to follow. Imagine that- He didn't even throw a chair. This seems like an appropriate time for him to do so.
Laurel, on the other hand, lied like she has in all other campaigns. I imagine Urbana being transformed into Prussingville- comparable to Pottersville in "It's a Wonderful Life." Is she aware that she will have to be the mayor for all the people of Urbana and people will not want to live in Urbana if the schools do not flourish? The schools need support and MONEY- and NOW--- I hope she will have a plan by the time she takes office. |
