UIUC Campus Greens is bringing Medea Benjamin to campus on February 22nd to speak. The event will be at 7PM at the Allen Hall Rec Room, first floor of residence hall on Lincoln Ave.

She is Founding Director of Global Exchange, co-founder of Code Pink. In the former she has supported human rights and social justice struggles around the world, in the latter she has organized creative actions against the war and occupation of Iraq. Medea has traveled several times to Iraq and helped establish the Occupation Watch International Center in Baghdad. http://www.occupationwatch.org .
