Work Less Party replies to the Throne Speech: “Brand BC” an
“all-deafening blast of puffery”
The BC Work Less Party has called the Liberal government’s throne speech
and it five great goals an “all-deafening blast of puffery.” “Who could
be against better education, healthier living, support for those in
need, a cleaner environment and more jobs?” asks Tom Walker, policy
coordinator for the party. "But on closer examination those goals
disappear in a fog of triumphalism and flawed premises about the
consequences of economic growth."
