4th Annual English & American Dance and Music Weekend
March 18-20, 2005
Urbana, Illinois
The Central Illinois English Country Dancers, the Illini Folk Dance Society and the Urbana Country Dancers will be holding a weekend of English and American dance and music at the Illini Student Union on the campus of the University of Illinois, 1401 W. Green, Urbana, IL.
The featured dance leaders will be Roger Diggle from Madison, WI and John Ramsay from St. Louis, MO. Roger will be calling the Friday evening contra dance and John will be leading the English Country Dancing on Saturday and Sunday.
The music will be provided by "Pam Sandwich"; Fred Stoll, Pam Carson Stoll and Fred Haver. There will be a contra dance on Friday evening
and an English Country Ball on Saturday evening. During the day on Saturday and on Sunday morning there will be workshops on couple
dancing, singing, instrumental music, square dance and English country dance. Then there will be a farewell dance on Sunday afternoon.
