2nd Night of Protest Against the War
5PM Federal Plaza MONDAY, Oct. 8
Intersection of Dearborn and Adams, Chicago loop
The Chicago Coalition against War and Racism will stage a second evening of
protests at the Federal Plaza, (Adams and Deaborn) at 5:00 PM Monday. Bring
signs, bullhorns, posters, banners, drums, puppets..and most importantly
people. Call everyone! More than 800 people attended the Sunday evening
emergency protest. Help make Monday's action even more powerful!
The US war against Afghanistan began Sunday, with a series of bombing attacks
against Kabul and other cities and targets. The attacks reportedly destroyed
one of only two functioning power plants in the country, further harming an
already deeply beleagured civilian population.
