2 UCIMC reporters have made it past the security check points leading to the march. Protesters are unable to bring bags past check points. Sources of water are becoming a concern. |

2 UCIMC reporters have made it past the security check points leading to the march. Protesters are unable to bring bags, purses, or backpacks past the check points. Sources of water are becoming a concern. Protesters chant in the background to be let into the march, as long lines persist though the morning hours. Other news sources are on hand, but seem to prefer talking amongst themselves than reporting news, according to UCIMC reporters. Check back for updates from Urbana-Champaign’s dedicated independent media reporters.
