First Monday is a campaign dedicated to education and action to reduce gun violence.
This year, the video Deadly Business by Glen Pearcy will be shown. Deadly Business takes a new look at the issue of gun violence by turning the spotlight on the gun industry and highlighting its role in the epidemic of gun violence in America. The film features Senator Richard Durbin, Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy, Common Cause President Scott Harshbarger and more.
The video presentation will be preceded by statements by each of the sponsoring organizations and followed by a community discussion. Please join us!
