Last night the Champaign County Democratic Headquarters was vandalized for the second time in the past few months. Bricks were thrown through the windows and literature taken. |
The large plate glass window in front of the headquarters was totally destroyed and was being replaced by plywood this afternoon. A Julia Rietz supporter arrived this afternoon to find that the huge piles of the literature for this candidate for States Attorney had disappeared. It is unclear what else is missing.
This latest attack comes after weeks of vandalism of political signs. "Regime Change begins at Home" seem to be a favorite of the vandals although I have, on one occasion, seen a Bush sign crumpled on my neighbors front lawn. |

Howard Dean has told a number of times even after his primary defeat that this upcoming on 11/2 presidential election would be the most important one within his entire life time. I agree completely. I am working for local democrats right now, and everything, which is written in this article, is unfortunately true. Please, local readers of this web site (global also) don't let yourself be defeated on this election, and then drafted in no time. Bush is no hope, but KERRY IS A HOPE. VOTE HOPE!! |
