On Wednesday, October 13th, Indymedia's hard drives with Rackspace web hosting were returned without any information provided as to who took them or why. The hard drives were seized OCT 7th. Activists angered by this seizure have created a Global Action Called Operation Hard Drive-by. Activists are symbolically delivering unwanted old used hard drives the Italian consulate in Amsterdam the The Swiss Consulate and FBI in San Francisco.
On september 29th 2004 Free radio santa cruz was raided by the FCC and US Marshals. The unlicensed micro-power radio station had been in operation for

Crude oil futures have set a record of $55 a barrel in New York.
According to the BBC Mr Greenspann noted that after the 1979
