I am experimenting with illustrations and also trying to do my best to influence the outcome of upcoming November 's election. Two illustrations below are of children's primitive style. Two poems to them are dedicated to all voters, who don't belong to one percent of American richest and are concern with justice, social security, own abilities to be rewarded for inventions., etc.. |

Red Queen's and Alice's Conversation About Justice
" In our country,- says the Queen,-
Faults shouldn't ever matter,
As punishments with all their means
Are assigned before these crimes happen!"
"I can't understand,"- then tells Alice,-
"Why innocence should be punished,
And why can't criminals, at least
Be related to the crimes?"
"Think deeper, child, if you were
In past punished for you faults,
You just became better then and there,
And no matter what!
So, by our punishment system
We make better people of the sort
Which, we think, needs improvement.
Then all crimes can be ignored!
We don't need to have police,
We have no sudden events.
And 'investigation', if you, please,
Is now the word without sense.
We gradually get less words,
As obsolete words are nasty.
So, we are happy with such courts,
And our way of justice! "
Confused Alice still tries to talk
About some words' meaning,
But all of a sudden huge dense smoke
Makes everything not real!

Alice's and White Knight's Conversation
" Yes, your song was gentle, dear Knight,
And I have shed many tears,
But, I think, - it is, certainly, not right
For old people to have no means!
They have worked hard their entire lives,
And now when have no more strength
They should continue to fight
Through the rest of their lives' length! "
" Yes, dear Alice, as in plain English style
Old people first get out of their strength,
And after that they still have a while
Of few years or, sometimes, of tens.
So, the government tries to take good care
Of them within this while of time :
To give them shelters, to feed them fair,
If they have worked hard and fine!
But in the country in our style
Old person first should die,
And only then after different whiles
They wouldn't be able to work fine!
So, now you can easily understand
(As easy, as one, two, three)
That in our country the government
Never tries to support elderly!"
"It seems not fair, it seems very wrong", -
Says then very confused Alice.
"Oh, no, we have strong, powerful crown,
And it can't even anything miss!"
" So, dear White Knight, I want also to ask,-
Who is supporting your inventions?
As I have seen, you have problems at last,
But continue you interventions."
" You are right, Alice, I need to admit,-
My inventions are far from perfection,
And, therefore, I always get money to keep
For to avoid all possible tensions.
But, if any inventions are very fine,
If they are perfect from the beginning,
The government then doesn't take time
To think of these inventions' meaning!
Invention then is very widely used
To the glory of the country and crown,
And names of inventors should be abused
Or even be claimed as 'unknown' "
"It is very strange,"- Alice then thinks,-
"It looks very wrong, it's not fair!"
But time is up, and now Alice
Should go to the next of her Squares. |
