Demonstrations at a proposed debate between Bush and Kerry at Washington University in St. Louis |
From the site:
"There are four weeks left until Republican candidate, George W. Bush, and Democratic candidate, John Kerry, come together for a nationally televised debate at Washington University in St. Louis. We are organizing around the debate to focus on real issues and grassroots politial activism. To do this we are organizing teach-ins, a parade (or march), and non-violent demonstrations near the debate site. Our goal is to bring together speakers, activists, performers, and pogressive groups to show our disillusionment with the current political system, to educate about excluded issues, and to create the world we want to live in!" |
