Why do I persist in "publishing" poems on this site? Because in the 27 years I have lived here in Champaign pursuing the personal and the political, seeking voice, and friend, challenge and solace, i have talked to myself, and listened to you. The dialog continues. So I do.
Winter Ride
Winter ride, we are going fast,
At the edge of control,
Euthanizing the singing ponies of Oklahoma.
The purse is raised as
Money whirls through wringers
Inevitable, logical.
Those on foot and the converted,
Call to Jesus, Allah
To stop the systems of efficiency.
No thank you Dr. Schoolman, Ma'm,
I know the form is broken,
But I'll pursue the Romantic supposition
That there is truth, purpose, portals,
Behind the doors of pain.
Back OFF! Evil one! |

It seems that your publications are appearing to push back mine. Sorry, but you seems to be not the good choice for the task. I have written and published poetry in three languages. Right now I am using this web only for the promoting political campaigns, which I support, and consider to be vitally important, and my and my husband's activities. Again we are in "different categories" and the imc editors attempts to "shield" this web from me by your publications look softly speaking strange, if not simply ridicules. Though, if you don't mind to participate in them, I, sure, don't mind you to continue to do it. Besides, this is supposed to be free publishing forum. |

Anna,
All articles are posted in the time order in which they arrive, with the newest at the top. The older ones eventually scroll off the page.
There is nothing sinister about this. It is just the way the site's software works.
Thus, your personal comments about Shelley's posting are not just completely inappropriate, which they would be in any case, but they are also based on your own misunderstanding. Please don't let misplaced blame be the basis of your comments here. |

ML, it is Ms. Maskar's choice to place her poetry when she is providing it. I mentioned it in my comment. However, it is still not explaining the mess with so named comments to postings. For example, according to this web, this posting has had already 6 comments before I start to write this current one. (the third according to basic arithmetic) So, participation of editors is pretty obvious. The tendency of your participation is also pretty obvious to me. Your political affiliation and most important the source of your funding are pretty clear to me also, though I have not examined and never wished to examine the last one.
By the way, where is also the comment to my posting "Portrait of the Modern "Distinguished" Politician". There is no comment to it either in visible or even in hidden part of your web site postings. So, to mention this one not existing comment is also the political gesture, which your web site editors have done. And, please, I have created a couple of web sites, and I am supporting mine currently. I really know what I am talking about. So, don't mingle with my postings, as it is no problem to me to prove that you are mingling with them. The same way as with Ms. Maskar's poetry we are in different "weight categories". |

Dear Anna,
The comment to "Portrait of the Modern "Distinguished" Politician" is available in the hidden section of the website.
http://www.ucimc.org/newswire/display/20296/index.php
I found it quite easily. If someone posts a comment and it is hidden, the parent article will still have the notation that a comment was made. You just need to look through the hidden pages.
As to funding, that is also found on the website here:

I'm not an editor of this website, just trying to be helpful. |

Maybe we shouldn't even go down this road.... |
