MoveOn.org lists two candlelight vigils tonight at 8 PM, one on south end of the Quad and another by the Hallene Gateway To Nowhere. Given the construction by the Hallene Gate, I'll be going to the one on the Quad. |
1) In front of Foellinger Auditorium (north end) 709 South Matthews Avenue (16 registered participants)
Urbana, IL
I HAVE CHOSEN TO MAKE THIS EVENT AS APOLITICAL AS POSSIBLE. WE ARE JUST GATHERING TO HONOR OUR FALLEN COUNTRYMEN. THERE WILL BE A SHORT NON-RELIGIOUS, NON-POLITICAL SERVICE AND CANDLE LIGHTING. Foellinger Auditorium on the South end of the main quad. The vigil will be held at the north end of the building (the side that faces the quad). Come and bring friends! And candles!
