WRFU, Radio Free Urbana, announces that it is sponsoring a contest to design a logo to be used to identify and promote the station. The winner will receive an AM/FM/Shortwave radio that can be powered by the sun via its solar panel, via a hand-crank, or by using a wallwart . The Freeplay Radio was manufactured in South Africa to get radio to the people where the grid doesn't go. |

See the flyer linked above for full details on how you can submit a design for the WRFU logo. The deadline for the contest is September 14. Stop by a WRFU meeting for more information. We meet the first and third Tuesday's of the month at 8pm at the UC IMC in downtown Urbana.
