George Orwell Bush and his pulpit preaching. |
George Orwell Bush
It’s absurd that our federal government wants to tell people who they can love and marry. An amendment to the constitution to ban gay marriages, our government is telling tax paying citizens that they cannot marry the one they love. Doesn’t this country ever look backwards and see the mistakes that were made? Such as its own prejudice against woman and minorities who is tax paying citizens.
My uncle is a gay man and I find it offensive that the people I employ as politician‘s, you know a servant of the public. You have the audacity to dictate moral fiber. George we all know you are an alcoholic and were a coke fiend at one point in your life. Where do you get off standing at the pulpit in society? You and your oil baron buddies forget that you work for us.
Dick Cheney should be ashamed of himself knowing his daughter is a lesbian not a defective thing of society that can’t tell the difference between right and wrong. Is this administration telling us that the Vice President of the New Knighted State of America’s daughter is a defect and can’t marry a woman she loves? Nothing like equal rights or all men are created equal. I guess equality is based upon one sexual orientation in this country.
George you spend more time talking about God and Iraq you forget the things that are taking place at home. Hey George, the economy sucks and some of us are really tired of you squawking about terrorism. You raise the alert you lower the alert, you treat us like children who need a bell to change classrooms. You expect us to live in fear of an enemy that hasn’t done a dam thing in years. Didn’t that all too familiar book have an on going war, between Britannia and East-Asia?
Now your administration has come up with the bright idea of having the right to postpone the elections. Perhaps we should just play it safe, not have an election. You can just stay in office another four year and take over a few more countries. You and your buddies can get richer and the average person can stay poor. Since your so concerned about security we could amend the constitution if need be and move the White House to Texas. After those four years are up lets just slide Jeb into the Oval office the same way he did for you. Then you can continue to pull the puppet strings on him just like your daddy does on you.
Don’t get me wrong George it’s not that I don’t like you; you just suck as a President. It’s not like you were a great Governor either. Weren’t you the same guy that traded Sammy Sosa? What are your accomplishments in life? Do you really believe that if you were born under some other name you would be president? There are those of us out there that recognize politics is a millionaire club. We don’t like it; actually we find it offensive what you do. How many young men will you ship out of this country under the pretense of democracy?
Let me spell democracy to a guy like you. D is for DISNEY, E is for ENRON, M is for MCDONALD‘S, O is for OCCIDENTAL PETROLEUM, C is for COCA COLA, R is for TOY’S R US, A is for ANHEUSER-BUSCH, C is for CNN and Y for Yahoo. Let’s not kid ourselves there are other places in the world worse then Iraq. I’m assuming Rwanda just doesn’t rank up there on the crude producing chart.
We the people, not we the strait man nor Christian fearing man. In order to form a more perfect Union, not one where man can dictate God’s wants but recognizes nature’s perfection and imperfections. Provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and not provide common offense of other citizens or general fear of all. And secure the blessings of liberty and our posterity. Are not those that are gay someone’s posterity? Do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. Or have times changed and it is the New Knighted States of America?
Democracy should be something practiced not preached. It should start with in our own boundaries before we wave our flag to the world. My uncle is a good man, a loving. I am proud of who he is. I am proud that he was at the Stonewall riots in New York which gave way to gay rights, now he is fighting for his civil rights to marry. Mr. President you don’t have that right to take that away from him.
