On July 3, 2004 the Clark Park area had it's annual 4th of July Parade. It starts at 10am with all the kids in teh neighborhood (and visitors) decorate their bikes and parade in a loop around the Park. Their are decorated strollers, wagons and people just walking.
After the parade there is a picnic with contests like watermelon eating, water balloon tosses and sack races. It's great to see a community get together.

I think it's an insult to this Nation, the Founding Fathers, the men and women who have died to make us free, and every America loving citizen in this Country, when someone takes an American flag and modifies it into something else. Those flags are not American flags, they are something else that I don't recognize, and the people flying them on the 4th of July are little more than traitors to their Country and should be arrested as far as I can tell.
But, that's just me. |
