The corpse is dressed in an orange jumpsuit similar to those worn by prisoners held at the US detention centre in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Al-Qaeda, the statement says, had killed Mr Johnson because he was guilty of aiding crimes of the American Fascists "because of what people old and young have suffered from American crimes perpetrated with Apache helicopters and their rockets".
Mr. Johnson had been working as a helicopter mechanic for US defense contractor Lockheed Martin (sic) in Saudi Arabia until his arrest and subsequent beheading yesterday. |
