Here's some recent info on the March, fyi. Note the endorsement list, and the additional demands related to immigrants' rights, anti-racist solidarity, and the war/ occupation at the end. (This committee was established by ILWU (Longshoreman's) Local 10, and it meets in their offices with local officers present.)
The Midwest planning meeting will be Sat., June 12th, at UE (United Electrical Union) Hall, 37 So. Ashland from 1-4 PM. We'll have speakers, featuring Trent Willis from ILWU 10 along with endorsing midwest groups and speakers, an open discussion/ question session, followed by a break-out working session and report-back. Mark you calendar if you're interested.
