I am going to have to go out on a limb here and side with Chuck. I know this surprises my many fans on this site, however, the very definition of marriage is between a man and a women.
I have no problem with you guys being in some sort or legal union. God knows, everyone deserves someone and I am not about to stand in the way of that. Call it whatever you like, but it will never be a marriage.
However, this is not what these unions are all about. They are trying to legislate what is normal, traditional, acceptable. With time, this may occur, but I feel sorry for the kids of same sex couples. Who in their right mind is going to let their kid sleep over at the house of Uncle Rob and Aunt Johns??? Bringing children into this is simply selfish and time will tell what scars are left on them.
Anyway, I wish you all a happy life and to some degree I admire your courage. I only hope that the children who have not had the choice of lifestyle that you did are as thick skinned.
