Chicago In Action (CIA) is mobilizing to send an affinity group to Washington, DC to protest the meeting of the World Bank/IMF this September |
Chicago In Action (CIA) is a group of concerned citizens in Chicago who are working to mobilize others in and around the Chicago area to demonstrate against the IMF and World Bank. We must show that oppression and exploitation of the world's people and resources will not be tolerated! Join the tens of thousands of others Saturday, Sept 29 and Sunday, Sept 30, who will come to Washington DC to fight for their rights.
Please contact CIA via telephone or email if you're interested in buying a ticket (cost is $65, or $100 if you can afford it) to come to DC, or check out our website, www.chicagoinaction.org
If you can't make it to DC but still want to protest-- there will be a major solidarity demo in Chicago that weekend, as well as a vigil and "people's party". Please see the website for details. |
