So come, talk, discuss and drink Green Tea!
All are welcome. Green Teas are on the third Wednesday of the month (April 21st) at 7:00 PM. They are held at the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center at 218 W. Main St., Suite 110 Urbana. This is between Strawberry Fields and The Office bar. We meet in the middle meeting room / art gallery. |

Green Tea? Don't you mean grape KoolAid?
Best of Luck Mr. Cobb, I can only hope that you will as successful as Mr. Nader, particularly in the key Battle Ground States. How does a conservative donate to your campaign.

A new Washington Post poll reports that if Nader wasn't in the race 64% of his voters would cast a ballot for Kerry while 21% would vote for Bush.
Presumably, the other 15% wouldn't bother voting for either one of the Two Turkeys. |

I'm sure glad that porn site certifies that Jack Ryan is at least 18, even though he always acts like he's 12 years old here at Indymedia. |

There's nothing wrong with being gay or running for an office like the Illinois Senate seat being vacated by "Peter" Fitzgerald. The voters should know about you hypocrisy, though, as your schizophrenic attacks on everything progressive here on Indymedia are totally out of character for the Jack Ryan _I_ "know".

Hopefully everyone else gets Jack's point besides FYI. If David Cobb stays in the race, that takes votes away from Kerry. Thus Jack and I would like to donate so that Cobb will stay in the race for no other reason than to make everyone hee feel like he accomplished something, when all he really did is take votes away from Kerry. Glad I could help clear this up for you. Next time I will help explain why pot messes up your head. |

FYI-
"David impressed them [at the Green Party Convention] by saying he was going to be campaigning as hard as he could in the 40 or so non-battleground states," from The Olympian, a Ganett Newspaper.
He was also noted as planning to focus in non-safe states where the Dems. and Reps. constructed election laws force him to. Such as Iowa where the Green Party will lose a ballot line if the Green Party does not get 3% of the vote. |

name change; green party - to - the pitty party!
with all the sniveling going on it is almost forgotten that this was an "election" the public has spoken
and Matt didn't make the cut,,,,, if he was the only one in the race it would have turned out the same way.
so go on and for god's sake get it over with....(don't turn this into another algore snivle fest )
time to whine, snivle and moan (and not in a good way)! |

I have a suggestion fot the green party. I think you should collectively occupy a building and present a list of demands. Instead of 3% of registered voters, you should demand a smaller percentage to get you on the ballot.
The fact that you folks have trouble getting even 3% should not make you draw the concluesion that 93% of the registered voters think your ideas are totally whacked.
See if you can negotiate your demands with a lady named Cantor. She will provide for you ever thing you need. Hell, she'll probably buy you lunch.
