On Thursday, April 1st, the Illinois Disciples Foundation’s Second Annual Human Rights Film Series will show Zapatista, a film from the Big Noise Collective, documenting the 1996 journey of three young activists into the heart of the Zapatista movement in Chiapas, located in Mexico, and makes the connections between it and the global movement against economic exploitation. After the film, there will be a facilitated discussion. The film series is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
