With her steadfast refusal to testify in open session under oath, many questions remain about why she won't testify in the face of so much pressure to speak.
On Today's front page of the Washington Post, Condoleezza avers she has nothing to hide; that she is only preserving the dignity of the presidency and the separation of the power of the presidency from the power of Congress. The 9-11 Commission is not even Congress. Nor is CBS, NBC, ABC and CNN, in front of whose cameras Ms. Rice has appeared regularly, albeit not under oath.
Come on Condi, what are you REALLY hiding? How can you preserve dignity when you engage in deceit? |
