Champaign, IL – Students for Environmental Concerns will be hosting an Earth Day Benefit Festival at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus. |
In honor of the 34th celebration of Earth Day, Students for Environmental Concerns will be hosting an Earth Day Benefit Festival at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus. The festival will take place on Thursday, April 15, 2004 at the Courtyard Cafe in the Student Union to benefit the Illinois Student Environmental Network (ISEN) in Urbana. ISEN works to connect Illinois' student environmental groups and community members to promote a statewide network of environmentalists across all sectors. Festivities will start at 7 PM and will include three bands: Green Mountain Grass, Eclectic Theory, and Nadafinga and education displays by a variety of community and campus groups. A donation of $3-$10 is suggested, and anyone age 18 or over is welcome to attend. Please join us in promoting awareness of environmental issues! |
