A LOOK AT THE CANDIDATES:
POSING THE UNCONVENTIONAL QUESTIONS
The event will take place on Thursday, February 26, at 7:00 pm, in Room 404, north side of the Illini Union.
The participants are
Imani Bazzell speaking on the stakes from a civil rights perspective, Dick
Bishop from an environmental one, Claudia Lennhoff from a health care
perspective, Peter Miller from a labor one, Gene Vanderport for public
education, and Ricky Baldwin looking at war and peace issues. Belden Fields will be
the moderator. Each participant will be asked to speak for about ten
minutes on the major issues and the candidate's positions. We will then open
it up to give-and-take involving both the audience and the
panelists. |
