"The Ground Truth"

On October 11th, the 4-year anniversary of Congressional authorization to use force against Iraq, the Progressive Resource/Action Cooperative will host the **CU premiere** of "The Ground Truth," an acclaimed documentary about the war in Iraq that witnesses the lives of military men and women during and after their tours. Please join us at the Illinois Disciples Foundation, on the northwest corner of Springfield and Wright in Champaign on Thursday, October 11th at 7pm.
The event is free and open to the public. The film will be shown on the first floor, using a newly-purchased projector and large film screen. The event is wheelchair accessible and limited free parking is available.
This event is being cosponsored by: Activist Forum, Anti-War Anti-Racism Effort (AWARE), Central Illinois Mosque and Islamic Center (CIMIC), Channing-Murray Foundation, Community United Church of Christ, Illinois Disciples Foundation, Mexican Student Association, School for Designing a Society, Socialist Forum, UC Friends Meeting, UC Independent Media Center Steering Group, University YMCA, and Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW) C-U Chapter.
