Will a judge order NASA 'UFO' video tape released? |

Since NASA is already being sued, it seems to be worth a shot... |
Currently I am looking for various tactics I might employ in order to gain the release of a certain video tape of a circular, disk shaped luminous craft that was filmed by NASA's space shuttle camera, on Tuesday, April 24th, 2001 at about 12:55 pm Central Time. The event was broadcast live from outside the space station, although as the craft appeared and flew accross the field of view, the feed from the space station was suddenly cut in mid transmission.
As I have mentioned in the past, NASA did admit (briefly) to having made a tape of such a disk shaped craft, with the following story appearing a little over a month later on the BBC site (dated June 1st, 2001), which refers to another tape, not made by NASA, of a similar disk, which states that, "officials at NASA are said to have asked to examine the tape, because they believe it shows the same type of craft once spotted by the space agency's own cameras during a space shuttle mission. "
As well I think that it is long over due that an investigation be made that would encourage people to come forward who lived in Melville, Saskatchewan during the fall of 1974, when, for an extended period of about two and half months these objects appeared in the night skies almost every single night. There were MANY MANY people who witnessed these craft (one person who comes to mind is a kid by the name of Craig, who I recall being filled with excitement, and who carried with him his telescope every night, in order to get the closest possible look).
During this extended event I saw a cigar shaped red object, covered with multi colored blinking lights (decorated like a Christmas tree), numerous circuclar shaped luminous white disks, three objects hovering in parallel that were perhaps 12 feet wide and 7 feet deep and shaped like two soup bowls placed together. Objects were seen making right angle turns, and some people down at the park saw one of these objects split in two with the two halves raising towards opposite ends of the horizon, and these objects were also capable of tremendous acceleration, heading upward into space and disappearing to a pin point in a matter of seconds. We had an extremely conservative, evangelical Christian newspaper at the time (one front page story concerned the arrival of two evangelists who would be going door to door converting souls - I remember them both - they came twice). Because of the growing talk around town of what was going on, even this conservative Christian paper was forced to publish two short articles on 'UFOs' on the front page, one which ridiculed the pheonomena, and one which, while extremely short, actually dealt with the subject in a dignified manner. I visited the library and scanned every page of those old newspapers, since I remembered those brief articles, and scanned them, and once I finish packing and moving and locate where I put them, I will have to post them on my website. It is slim pickings, as far as 'press coverage' of what occured goes, but given the conservative nature of that religious newspaper, to even get that much was remarkable, and a response to growing public pressure.
Perhaps it is due to personal experience, but I cannot think of a single story in the entire world that is important as this one, nor can I accept living on planet which remains ignorant of something of such profound significance. Such a state of affairs remains incomprehensible to me. It is unacceptable, and the wall of silence must come down. The video tape made by NASA would contribute greatly to this process, and is particularly important, since it is a video tape made by NASA, and thus we can skip the part about questioning the source or the motives of those who made the tape (this is particularly true when you consider how quickly the live feed was cut once this object appeared).
Another world already exists. LET'S GO! (I am not a patient person. ARE WE THERE YET?)
The SciFi channel is helping a researcher sue NASA over an incident that allegedly happened in the mid 60s, about which I know something, and I have sent the following email to this researcher in the hopes, that, while she is suing NASA, she might be able to pry lose that video tape (after all, judges are people too, and I am sure a judge might want to view such a tape as well).

By the way I understand that the SciFi channel is onboard and helping out with the lawsuit for reasons of ratings, since the Roswell show was their highest rated show in their entire 11 years of broadcasting, but, as far as the researcher into this 60s incident is concerned, I guess you take whatever help you can get in this world.
The email I sent read as follows...
I understand you are suing NASA for information regarding an incident that reportedly took place in the 1960s.
I thought I would pass some information on to you about an interesting video shot by NASA in 2001. NASA was broadcasting live from the International Space Station on Tuesday, April 24th, 2001, at about 12:55 pm (Central Time) when a round luminous disk shaped object suddenly flew up outside the sapoce station. The object was caught on camera by NASA's space shuttle camera.
I have tried to put some pressure on NASA for about three years to get the video released, with no luck.
I sent out the following email on Wednesday the 25th, to CBC NewsWorld, and also had no luck.
Subject: UFO on CBC Newsworld
Date: Wed, 25 Apr 2001 11:26:05 -0600
I was watching the space station show on CBC Newsworld when I saw what
looked like a UFO go speeding by from the lower left to the upper left hand
side of the picture. It was during the last minute or two of the show. Play the
tape. Take a look.
Shortly after this the computers were knocked down on the space station. I
understand there is supposed to be triple redundancy and it is odd to have
all three systems knocked out, especially right after something like that
happened. I then watched a tape of a terrified crew, and the next day I
watched a very strained looking crew member attempting to give a casual
looking interview.
About a month later NASA did admit to having such a video in their possession.

I feel that the public has a right to know, and the right to judge for themselves, rather than having powerful people in high places taking it upon themselves to judge on behalf of everyone else, with their judgment apparently being to keep everyone ignorant. This particular case is interesting from a legal point of view, since their is this tantalizing bit of 'confession' that such a disk shaped craft was indeed filmed by NASA's space shuttle camera. I find it interesting that as the craft appeared it was visible for a few seconds and then suddenly the feed from the shuttle was cut, and as I recall the announcer on Newsworld looked a little startled but didn't miss a beat.
It is possible that the date was Monday April 23rd, 2001, and it is also possible that the time was around 1:55 pm (rather than 12:55). However I am certain I only waited a day to send the email which would have made it the Tuesday. I very much want to see that footage released, and I also want to post a small media clip on my website.
Thought you might be interested to know...perhaps when you get NASA into court you can also pique the interest of a judge and get a court order to release that segment of video tape. After all, judges are people, too, and I am sure that a judge might be just as curious to see such a tape as anyone else would be. It might also be difficult for NASA to 'deny' or claim that no such tape exists, given the tantalizing evidence indicated in the BBC story above, which makes this angle of legal interest as well, or so I think....
