The Independent Media Center Librarians and the Self-Publishers Event Council of Chicago are hosting a zine reading accompanied by improvisational music SATURDAY, DECEMBER 13th at 6:30PM at the Independent Media Center, located at 218 West Main Street, in Urbana. |
The Independent Media Center Librarians and the Self-Publishers Event Council of Chicago are hosting a zine reading accompanied by improvisational music SATURDAY, DECEMBER 13th at 6:30PM at the Independent Media Center, located at 218 West Main Street, in Urbana.
The following D.I.Y. publishers will be reading from the zines and other projects:
Ariel Clemenzi (Women’s Self-Defense & Rock Out zines),
Emerson Dameron (Kazoo zine),
Jessica Disobedience (Safety Pin Girl),
Brandon Wetherbee (Foul zine),
Rich Frazin (UIUC Student Peace Action),
Alicia Dorr (Zine Guide & Random Life In Progress),
Brad (Silly Little Trouser Monkeys),
Aaron Cynic (Diatribe zine),
Brent Ritzel (Zine Guide & Tail Spins)
Atmospheres and environments will be provided by:
Jay Eychaner - synthesizer
Jason Finkelman - percussion
Paul Riismandel - electric guitar
Come for an evening of independent words and music at the independent media center.
