Here is the audio of this week's IMC Radio News program, which aired 12-1-2003 at 5:30pm on 90.1FM WEFT, Community Radio. |
|
This show includes:
(1) IMC reporter Paul Kotheimer's report on the anti-FTAA protests in Miami.
(2) A report on the mothers-of-the-disappeared-women march in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.
(3) A WBAI segment on layoffs at a community hospital in Harlem.
(4) A report on efforts to stop logging in Tasmania's old growth forests.
This show represents the last IMCRN with me (Clint) coordinating. The grant from the Paul Robeson Fund was not renewed, so my employment ends with this show. If you'd like to help IMCRN keep on keepin' on, please stop by the IMC two weeks from today (Dec 15th) at 6:30pm to help the Radio News Group start to make the transition back to all-volunteerism. We can do it! But we need your help.
