For 10 years, Dave Wirsing has been the do-nothing Republican representative in DeKalb County, serving, unopposed, in the state legislature. During that time, job growth has lagged in the county. Protest Wirsing and demand that he release his financial records from his days working as a lobbyist for the Pork Producers Association and his reported wild spending habits. |
SYCAMORE - State Representative David Wirsing and fellow members of the House Republican Rural Economic Development Task Force seek input from local business people and labor and community leaders to plan a strategy to bring new and better jobs to the area.
A task force hearing will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the DeKalb County Farm Bureau, 1350 W. Prairie Drive. Part of a series of hearings held in small communities, this meeting will help legislators focus on what they can do to create jobs and economic opportunities in rural Illinois.
Those interested in protestig are invited to call (815) 748-3494 to voice your complaints about this charlatan's economic program, or to attend the protest in person.

The crafty campaign of Republican David Wirsing is battling allegations that it is violating Illinois state law by holding a campaign fundraiser on public property. Look at the following press release which demonstrates the mendacity of this campaign:
"Citizens for Wirsing
DeKALB - The Fall Event for state Rep. Dave Wirsing will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the DeKalb Park District Community Center, 1403 Sycamore Road. There will be food, door prizes and an auction.Tickets are $30 adults and free for children 10 and younger. For more information or to make a reservation, call (815) 754-0599."
Protest this mockery of ethics by calling the above number and get this rogue to stop feasting at the public trough. |
