Some Pixx From Anti-Racist March On Bradley |

About a hundred people marched on the Bradley Foundation
yesterday. It was a very spirited demonstration with lots
of great speakers taking the bullhorn, and many people
carrying signs. |

"Corporate scum, here we come," was one chant heard all over
Milwaukee's east side as about 100 people marched from the
sunburst sculpture to the Bradley Foundation's HQ.
They were videotaped by a man in a grey sedan across the
street, and they were also videotaped by electronic
surveillance cameras attached to the "Lions Building,"
which is one of the spaces housing the ill-reputed neo-nazi
rightwing funding group called the Harry and Lynde Bradley
Foundation.
Motorcycle cops were dotted all over the place including
in front of the building which, by the way is fortified
by a very tight castle-like fencing system that seems to
have cost a million or so all by itself.
The building was purchased a few years ago and rehabbed,
by this same group who fund all kinds of people including
David Horowitz, Charlie Sykes, Rush Limbaugh, Arnold Schwartzenegger, Ariel Sharon, and William Rehnquist's
silly daughter who keeps getting caught in conflicts of
interest.
I'm thinking they ought to change the wording of "conflict
of interest" to better reflect the circumstances.
Walking While Republican might suffice.

ps: it's pretty unclear where the Bradley Foundation
was housed before moving into this building, but rumors
have it that just a little further over along Franklin,
you can take a left onto Pleasant and go a few blocks,
and find a building which used to be the site of many
out-in-the-open Pig Roasts by the illustrious KKK back
in the 20s and 30s.
