Due to continuing heavy rains, this year's Champaign County Labor Day Parade has been cancelled. |

Official word was passed to me that, as of 8am, the Labor Day parade has been cancelled. Radar indicates that heavy rains will continue all morning and probably into the afternoon, so organizers have called off the parade and picnic due to circumstances beyond their control. |
