Do you ever see the world as a “real life” James Bond, 007 movie? The latest James Bond 007 movie involved North Korea and diamonds from Sierra Leone (the best diamonds in the world) being traded for both weapons of mass destruction and small arms. You are swept away in a gripping drama as the West tries to stop some nutcase from blowing up the world. Over the past decade or two, maybe more for some of you, we have been engrossed in watching “real life” world events unfold. Just like a 007 movie, you have the good guys, the bad guys and the strange twist at the end that makes everything else make perfect sense. At the end of the movie you realize the one you thought was the good guy actually turned out to be culprit and the one you thought was the bad guy isn’t, and saves the world. Oil, Iraq, America, France, Russia, North Korea , the United Nation’s, Jihad Terrorism, weapons of mass destruction, and Corruption? Get some popcorn, sit back and see the strange twist in this “real life” griping drama, as I reveal the complexity of world events today. How this all fits together…

Let's look at some of what Gabrielle has to say, taken from her website:
"After 9/11 and an evaluation of the full global threat of terrorism, self defense is America’s first and foremost priority."
Gee, that's original. Right out of Bush's playbook. When they bomb innocent civilians, it's terrorism. When we bomb innocent civilians, it's self-defense.
"Ok, yes I think America is looking for alternative oil resources but not to boost their economy."
I gotta admit that Bush's war hasn't boosted anyone's economy, except that of his big campaign contributors, of course.
"America needs oil to run the military, to run the country, to keep old people warm, cars running… it is a government’s responsibility to ensure provisions for that."
So we make war on people and take their oil. How noble. What's wrong with just buying it, the old-fashioned capitalist way?
"As I mentioned, Saudi Arabia had been taking the profits from their oil money and financially supporting with HUGE sums of money the jihad terrorist organizations around the world such as Al Qaeda and the Taliban to blow up innocent people."
True. But it was only after the CIA showed them the ropes and made bin-Laden who he is.
"At what point is Sadam, who was an acclaimed hit man before rising to power, responsible for any of the treatment of the people he abused? How is it America’s fault that he and his family lived in disgusting decadence, that he took billions of dollars from the Iraqi people in US Dollars to bank accounts that were meant to feed the hungry and provide medical care?"
Since the CIA first put the Baathists, then Saddam himself, in power, that makes it the responsibility of the United States.
I could go on, but why bother. We get an idea of the shape of your ideas. Around here, most people pick up the News-Gazette if they really want to hear such ruling party line drivel.
More and more, it looks like your spamming of the IMC network is mostly just shoddy advertising for the $9.95 autographed pictures of your narcissistic self, as prominently adverstised on your webpage. Sorry, we'll NOT be supporting your cause and we are likely to cut off your free advertising space here as well, if you keep it up. |
