Two anti-war demonstrators go on trial on truimphed up charges of resisting law enforcement after their March 20th arrest. |

Justin Goodpastor and Gwen Frisbie-Fulton go on trial July 1st in Court 8, Indianapolis, IN.
Frisbie-Fulton and Gooodpastor were arrested at a demostration in downtown Indy the day after the war started. In a small crowd outside Senator Lugar and Senator Bayh's offices (where other citizens were participating in a sit down), the two were attacked and arrested while standing on the sidewalk. Charges against all other protestors arrested that day were dropped on the request of Mayor Peterson, but Goodpastor and Frisbie-Fulton were charged and held.
Both have entered a "not guilty" plea to the charges, and did nothing illegal or unethical
Local activist plan to attend the trial on Tuesday. |
