Get involved in the UIUC Coalition Against Coke Contracts, a campus/community group working to end UIUC's exclusive contract with Coca-Cola.
Monday, July 10th at 6:30pm in Espresso Royale
(Daniel & 6th St, Champaign) |
The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has a five year exclusive contract with Coca-Cola. This contract is up for renewal in 2007. Considering Coke's egregious labor and environmental records, this exclusive contract forces you to subsidize human rights abuses, labor violations and environmental degradation every time you want a soft-drink, bottled water etc. while on campus.
Join the growing coalition of students, faculty, and community members urging the University not to renew its exclusive contract with Coca-Cola. Learn more and get involved by attending our meeting on July 10th and visiting our website at: http://caccuc.blogspot.com.
