Fundamental principles of the American republic have been thrown overboard by Spygate (the current spying scandal of the Bush administration). The US government spied on all the people without any judicial control. This is the presumption of different observers. What will the Supreme Court do? Will it collapse in view of the executive power as the German courts did under the Nazis? Or will the Supreme Court prosecute Bush for violating basic rights of the American constitution, the most pernicious crimes?

In March 2006, Roberts put more coal on the fire when he asked: Will there be a second September 11? Roberts explained in detail why he believes the Bush administration despite all logic holds to an Iran attack. He concluded that Bush needs a terrorist attack that is quickly blamed on Islamic forces or Iran to justify that kind of adventure.
