A preliminary program is now online, with over 75 workshops, films, plenary sessions, and other events -- and more on the way. By next week, over 100 events will be listed, including films, music, art displays, and children's activities. |
Only 39 days until Midwest Social Forum 2006....
Check out an overview of the schedule of events here: www.mwsocialforum.org/scheduleoverview

So far, over 150 organizations and projects are planning to participate in the MWSF by organizing workshops, retreats, caucuses, strategy sessions, cultural activities, and more. About 75 of these organizations have formally registered on the website to let others know about their plans. These groups are listed here:
* Listing of organizations: www.mwsocialforum.org/organizations
* Map of organizations: www.mwsocialforum.org/map/node
If you haven't yet registered your project or organization, do it soon to give a head's up to others working on similar topics across the Midwest. And don't wait to register as an individual. Registration fees increase by 10% after June 15. For more information on costs and other logistics, see www.mwsocialforum.org/cost
A space within the UWM has been set aside as a convergence space for independent media to cover the event, organize media skillshares, and other IMC style goodness. If you're interested in helping out or using the space, go to www.mwsocialforum.org/contact
