Progressive Quad Day: Creating Social Change
Tuesday April 18th
11am – 3pm
University of Illinois Quad in front of the Illini Union
**more than 45 campus and community groups**

Would you like to see social change based on values of human rights,
diversity, and protecting the environment? Come out to Progressive Quad
Day (PQD) on Tuesday, April 18th and help make it happen by meeting
people who create meaningful change on our campus and in our community.
More than 45 organizations that tackle progressive issues in their own
fun and innovative ways will be assembled on the quad for PQD to get
their message out and network with others looking for that opportunity
to make a small or large change in their world. This is not about
politics, this is about the groups on campus and in the greater
community that take it upon themselves to engage with today's social issues.

On PQD there will be groups that do volunteer work in C-U and around the
world, groups that promote fact-based education and cultural diversity,
groups that address social awareness and responsibility. Each group is
looking for forward-thinking and active individuals who are interested
in making a difference. All of the groups listed below will have tables
on the quad from 11 AM until 3 PM in front of the Union on Tuesday,
April 18th. Please be a part of Progressive Quad day, organized by the
Coalition for Social Change. This is your chance to get involved in fun
work and find like-minded people who stand up for issues that matter to you.
