And today it is Cynthia McKinney from Georgia. Tomorrow it will be Maxine Waters from California. The next day it will be everyone and everybody who committed the crime of the century, as Oscar Brown Jr. would have put it, ''the crime of being Black,or hungry or poor.'' |
Who is to say what the Capitol Hill policeman fascist attack on Cynthia McKinney, who is a six-term member of Congress and one of the most respected politicians in the Black community, bringing up images of fascist regimes of times past.
The outrage is the Capitol Hill policeman fascist attack on Cynthia McKinney, who is a six-term member of Congress and one of the most respected politicians in the Black community, bringing up images of fascist regimes of times past.
Outrage is justified from us all and the people whom elected Cynthia McKinney to represent them only to have the fascist that have seized power to Physically attack her in the capital on her way to do her job, but that is the point of the attack isn’t it, to do whatever it takes to keep the peoples interests from being represented. When it comes to having to protect themselves from the police-state attack, the attack was defended so arrogantly by the head of the Capitol Hill gestopo like Police Department who in his inarticulateness made us even more suspicious as to what had happened at the gates of our government.
This blatant assault on democracy under the excuse They didn’t know who Representative McKinney was.. Must People do something out of the normal political process to express their rage, anger and outrage at this assault on democracy? Once more, you had better bet your ass we should because we are faced with the most fascist hostile government in recent memory, not only a government that is rabid and greedy leader who is an insane lunatic.
One does not have to take our word for it. Ask most of the leaders of the free world, most particularly the third world countries who have not been particularly blessed by the largess of the United States. Ask the leaders of the poor communities who have not been blessed by bills that go forward to merge the government with religion the president has had passed that make it possible for religious institutions to take government money that are devised as money to help the churches and the memberships thereof. It is these grants mostly accompanied by a wish, indeed a command, from officials of government that these churches and their members try especially hard to register and vote for fascist candidates, although these words are unspoken or understood if you want to get the money. Uncle Remus would have said, ''They ain't going nowhere, no how, no time.''
we are forced between a rock and a hard place to essentially do it ourselves. We mean those of us who care about surviving in this never never land of a fascist utopia.
Cynthia McKinney and other congress people that plan to really represent the interests of the people in Congress had better watch out. Now it is clear they have been targeted, there must come a defense for them. It must come from somewhere. It will take some time in America for anything to happen that is positive or hopeful for helping the war between fascists and the people. That war will continue even when there are no longer the battles of conquest raging in Afghanistan and Iraq. They are only tertiary to the real battle that must be waged. That is doing those things, positive or not, that will allow the fascists to realize that have the power to throw them out.
There must be a way. We must admit that we do not see it. Retaliation is the only way that is going to give us immediate satisfaction. And don't we really need satisfaction now? The current dictator bush has gone way to far on many fronts and must dethroned. Is it foolish to suggest that a proper count and a proper vote by People in America will be enough to change the landscape politically in this country? It is imminently probable if we but decide that we have no other choices in a time when choices are unavailable to us and we begin to react with the outrage turned into action. Think about the fate available to us in America now and decide which way you are going to go between now and Election Day 2006. As Edward R. Murrow would have said, ''Good night and good luck.'' |
