Dear Infoshop reader and supporter,

Infoshop.org has been providing resources, information and news since
1995 for millions of people around the world. We run a popular newswire
which is read by tens of thousands of people each day. We cover current
issues and events from points of view that go beyond the standard
analysis found in the liberal media. We've covered the ongoing disaster
on the Gulf Coast and we helped raise several thousand dollars to get
the Common Ground clinic started. We've helped hundreds of organizations
promote their events, campaigns, and projects. Infoshop News has covered
the ongoing fight against anti-immigrant racists, developing
environmental problems, the growing anti-war movements, anti-corporate
activism, the ā€œGreen Scareā€ against environmental and animal rights
activists and much more.

The Alternative Media Project is much more than just a news service. The
Infoshop.org website continues to be one of the most popular online
destinations for information and resources. In the past year we've added
many things to the website, including our new blogging service, hundreds
of articles, the Carlos Latuff archive, hundreds of pages to the wikis,
and our new audio section. We're set to re-launch Practical Anarchy
magazine in a few weeks, with the goal of making the magazine a
quarterly publication this year. We are also a couple of months away
from publishing the first book with our new Breaking Glass Press
imprint. The revised edition of The Black Bloc Papers will present many
of the texts and accounts from this movement, along with some new
analysis. We hope to publish more books and other materials in the years
to come.

Infoshop recently kicked off our Spring 2006 online fundraising drive.
We need to raise $3500 in the next two months as part of our efforts
this year to raise around $20,000 for our operations. We are asking you
today to donate $25, $50, or $100 to support our project and ongoing
work. We appreciate small donations, but please consider making a more
significant donation to support our project.

Donate today!

We really need your support to help us put this organization on a solid
footing. Your contributions will help us pay the bills, pay writers and
contributors, publish books and magazines, establish the new Infoshop
office, and establish paid staff positions within the organization. The
AMP/Infoshop project manages to do much on a minimal budget, so your
donations can make a huge difference for us.

Thank you!

Revolutionary regards,

Chuck Munson
for the Infoshop and Alternative Media Project Collective
