Here is an idea that makes too much sense to be ever accomplished. Combine the “States” of Israel, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Gaza and West Bank (Palestine?) into “The Secular Federal Nation of Holy Land”. |

Just as the colonial powers drew lines on a map after WWI we/they can do the same again. This new nation would have the economic, and military might to rival any nation in the world. This new nation could channel its current expenditures towards helping its citizens rather than fighting or preparing to fight. The State of Israel would still exist, and could legally purchase land anywhere in Holy Land for settlements. The Wall could come down. Everybody could live in Peace. Nice Thought. |
