VIDEO ACTIVISTS NEEDED FOR ANTI-WAR DOCUMENTARY SHOOT IN ILLINOIS APRIL 11-13 |
Video/Web Activists Urgently Needed April 11-13
We are activist filmmakers from Canada making a documentary called
"Web of Dissent" about alternative media journalists who oppose the war.
We are establishing teams of two people in cities around the world for
this film. One person will use a camera to document anti-war protest and
transfer video or still photographs to the web in a 72-hour period beginning
on April 11.
The second person will document the first camera person in action, then
send the video documentation to us for the documentary. We believe we
can get money from the Canadian government for this film to pay those
who help us in the future. This project is supported by our friend,
Mark Achbar, co-director of "Manufacturing Consent," the classic film
about Noam Chomsky.
We are making this documentary because we are strongly opposed to the
war. We want to show the world that there is an alternative media who
speak the truth. Please help us to show the war makers that millions of
people are watching them with a critical eye.
