On Tuesday, January 21st, I'll be going to a meeting at the
Offices of Congressman Johnson. About 20 of us will gather
and ask that Congress push President Bush to commit to the UN process and let the inspections work. We'll also be delivering a petition from hundreds of thousands of Americans with the same message: "Let the Inspections Work."
Visit MoveOn.Org to and sign up to attend this community meeting with Representative Timothy Johnson at 12:30 on Tuesday, January 21st. We need to make our voices heard. |
The meeting I'm attending is at:
01/21/03 12:30:00 PM
2004 Fox Dr
Champaign, IL 61820
Please join me. With only a little time, we can make a big difference.
You can sign up for the meeting online at:

I hope to see you there!
Most sincerely,
Rev. T-Monk-E

The Inspections Are A Sham |

Let's not accept the rhetoric about inspections. Unless we're willing to get rid of our WMD, stop developing NMD and get back on board the ABM treaty, back off of our "pre-emptive nuclear attack" doctrine, and have our weapons programs monitored by international inspectors, we have no business requiring that of other countries, however despotic their leaders are. We need to get serious about non-proliferation and lead by example. So we should not let the inspections work -- certainly not the way the UN security council intends them to. We must have a comprehensive non-proliferation policy that does not make exceptions for the US. |
